About

Senior front-end developer, building for the web professionally since 2018. Most of my work has been in React and Angular: retail e-commerce, a stock exchange platform, and internal systems for Banco do Brasil and SEBRAE.

The part I enjoy most is what people actually see and touch: animations, transitions, and the small details that make an interface clear and pleasant to use. I care about the UX as much as the code behind it.

Right now I'm at Velv, building the React v2 of the e-commerce platform for Tilroy, an omnichannel retail software company.

    Portugal

    Building the v2 of Tilroy's e-commerce platform in React, replacing the original ColdFusion version.

    • Tilroy is omnichannel retail software for stores and chains: point of sale, online store and inventory in one system, kept in sync in real time.

    Front-end work for two Velv clients: Tilroy's retail e-commerce platform and a stock exchange platform.

    • Developed and maintained the e-commerce platform of Tilroy (omnichannel retail software used by many stores and chains) in ColdFusion, connecting each retailer's webshop to its physical stores and inventory.

  • Backseat AI

    2026

    An AI co-host for Twitch streams, and the upcoming open version of Poxine, the co-host I run on my own channel (still a work in progress). She answers chat in Portuguese or English, remembers the viewers she talks to, reacts to subs, raids and other live events, and speaks with a TTS voice, subtitles and a VTuber model. Everything is configured from a web console, and a plugin system lets her control Spotify, Home Assistant and OBS. Her on-stream side is a set of animated OBS overlays built with GSAP: chat bubbles, alerts, a prize wheel and end-of-stream credits. At the end of each stream she posts a recap to Discord, including the API cost of the session.
